My great nephew enjoyed this, but I had a few problems with it. All of the Old Testament that was included was in the book of Genesis. There is much more that they could have used. In fact, it ended with Jacob meeting Esau again. After that, it goes to the birth of John the Baptist.
In the New Testament, there is much that could have been used there as well. I was surprised that The tempting by Satan was in there. Of course, I was also surprised that nothing was in there about his death and resurrection.
The animation was fair, but could have been better. I thought that most of the people looked the same, with slight variations on hair style and hair color. Also, I prefer the classic styles of animation to the computer animation. Of course, that doesn't matter nearly as much to the kids.
All in all, much more could have been done. It was only an hour, including special features. The stories were in 3 minute snippets, which was a good thing. Of course, since the snippets were so short, they could have added much more.
In short: Kids will likely enjoy this DVD, but be prepared to share much more of the Bible with them.
That's just my opinion...
